Christian Johnston – is a graduate of Weber State University with a B.A. in Musical Theatre. Some of his favorite roles include George in Sunday in the Park with George, Marcellus Washburn in the Music Man,Tom Sawyer in Big River, Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web, and Sgt. Wetzel in Jim Christian’s Pirated!
Isaac Carrillo – is an alumni of the Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts where he fell in love with Theater, with a preference for Musical Theater. This is his first strictly acting role in a long while, and his first voice acting role ever! When he heard about this production he jumped at the opportunity to be a part of it and has had a great time working with Next Step Theatre and bringing these eerie stories to life. Isaac is particularly fond of the macabre and especially in the writings of Edgar Allan Poe, so this production was a dream come true. Past credits include Steven Kodaly in She Loves Me, Seymour Krelborn in The Little Shop of Horrors, and Hugo in Tuck Everlasting. Have a Safe and Happy Halloween!
Emma Faye – is a native Californian with a passion for acting in voiceover, film and stage. With 20+ years of experience and being LA trained she is professional and great at diving into characters. Emma loves delving into the character and stories of her projects to really understand who they are and bring them to life. This past year, her career has shifted towards narrating audiobooks and has just completed her 13th book. She is also the president of the Eagle Mountain Community Theatre and is a proud cat mom. Eva TerraNova – is thrilled to be apart this spooky and coronavirus-safe production. Audiences may recognize her voice from such performances as Coriolanus in Coriolanus and Lady Macduff in Macbeth (New World Shakespeare Company), Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Fifth Goat Productions), Audrey in The Little Shop of Horrors (Sandy Arts Guild), Shelby in Steel Magnolias (On Pitch Performing Arts), Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense (Midvale Arts Council) and Celia in As You Like It (Davis Arts Council). She is a graduate of the U of U’s Actor Training Program.
Ashtyn Roskelley – is thrilled to be working on this very spooky Halloween project! Autumn is her favorite time of year, and she has always reveled in the excitement of the Halloween season. Ashtyn spends most of her time doing musical theatre, sewing, and spending time with her husband, Maverick, and their two Huskies, Ekko and Lina. She is very excited to be branching out into the world of voice-acting, and can’t thank you enough for listening!
Torin Scoffield – is a Salt Lake City based actor where he graduated from the University of Utah in 2016 with a B.F.A in theatre, and has since been featured in a number of local productions. Some of his favorite roles include Orlando from As You Like It, Louis from A View From The Bridge, and Little John from Robyn Hood. He would like to thank his girlfriend Ashley for her love and support and to his friends for always laughing at his terrible jokes.
Sterling Shane Allen – This will be Sterling’s first show with Next Step Theatre Company. He holds a Bachelors in Musical Theatre from Weber State University. He recently directed A Call To Serve for the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival for Decaf Acting Company. Favorite roles include Jack Kerouac in We Foxes, Douglas in Seminar and Dennis in This is Our Youth.
Liza Shoell – is chuffed as all get out to join Next Step Theatre Company. Her favorite credits included Viola in Twelfth Night, Jay in Telephone, and Marley in The (Obsolete) Unkindness of Ravens. Jim Dale – Some of Jim’s favorite roles include Henry Higgins, Don Quixote, Sweeney Todd, Capt. Von Trapp, and El Gallo! Also, Charles in Blithe Spirit, Cromwell in A Man for All Seasons, Jack in Dancing at Lughnasa, and Baptista in A Taming of the Shrew.
Blake London – is thrilled to be performing again after a nearly two-year theatre hiatus and to work with Next Step in his first voice-acting role. Some of his favorite roles over the years in the Salt Lake community theater scene include Roat in Wait Until Dark, Freddie in Noises Off!, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) ensemble. “Life’s no fun without a good scare.”
